Attend Events
Fair Housing of Marin hosts a variety of events for Marin County residents and real estate professionals. Click here to see the current events schedule.

A Panel of Americans Volunteer Panelist
Tell your story and share your experience as one of our Voices of Diversity. Through this innovative Panel of Americans program, students learn about diversity as an integral part of life in the United States through the moving and entertaining personal stories of real Marin County residents. Voices of Diversity focuses on the origin of racial and cultural stereotypes and how they affect our lives.

Typical Panel of Americans programs feature a half hour or hour long presentation appropriate for middle and high school classrooms or assemblies, professional or community groups, and churches and synagogues.

Some recent comments:
"[Your panelists] were among the most inspirational speakers we have ever had in Rotary. They were poignant and thought provoking and touched everyone's hearts."
- Sunrise Rotary Club

"The assembly [was] exactly what our students needed. [It] allowed them to deal with the true greatness of our country - its diversity - while facing our nation's greatest problem - intolerance."
- Teacher, North Marin High School

  • Have good observation skills and be able to write clear, objective reports.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be available approximately 2-3 hours for each investigation, some of which may be done on weekends or evenings.
  • Conduct a practice test.
