BECOME A FAIR HOUSING TESTER

Help Stop Housing Discrimination

Do you want to help civil rights become a reality and also have some spare time? Now you can do it for a good cause. We are always looking for testers to conduct on-call housing discrimination investigations. It's easy: just assume the role of a homeseeker and then report your experience. A stipend of $50 per investigation is available, plus travel reimbursement.

To be considered as a Tester, individuals must:

  • Have good observation skills and be able to write clear, objective reports.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Be available approximately 2 - 3 hours for each investigation, some of which may be done on weekends or evenings.
  • Conduct a practice test.
