BECOME A FAIR HOUSING TESTER
Help Stop Housing Discrimination
Do you want to help civil rights become a reality? Now you can do it for a good cause. We are always looking for volunteer testers to conduct on-call housing discrimination investigations. It's easy: just assume the role of a homeseeker and then report your experience. A stipend of up to $50 per investigation is available, plus travel reimbursement.
To be considered as a Tester, individuals must:
- Have good observation skills and be able to write clear, objective reports.
- Have reliable transportation and/or access to public transportation
- Be available approximately 2 - 3 hours for each investigation, some of which may be done on weekends or evenings.
- Attend a tester training session
- Conduct a practice test.
