Counseling

Information about Fair Housing
Learn about your rights - and how you can help protect them.

File a Complaint
If you believe your Fair Housing rights have been violated, Fair Housing of Marin will investigate your complaint and assist you in determining what action should be taken.

Professional Training

Specialized Training Seminars
Do you work in the rental housing industry? Now you can earn credit toward your continuing education requirement by attending a FHOM training seminar on fair housing.

Fair Housing Laws and Recommended Practices
FHOM provides information tailored for property owners, real estate professionals, property and resident managers.

Media/Advertising Bias Sensitivity Training
Journalists, ad sales staff, and advertising copywriters can contact FHOM to learn about the responsibility of the press and other media to refuse discriminatory advertising - including discriminatory wording and the exclusive use of Caucasian models.

Housing Advocacy

FHOM conducts investigations of current housing opportunities to determine compliance with fair housing laws and child ordinances. We may also file complaints with administrative agencies or in the courts on behalf of the community.

Children's Poster Contest
