FAIR HOUSING POSTER CONTEST
"The World: A Rainbow of Friends"
 |
Educators know that children respond best to new ideas when their own creativity is challenged. The annual FHOM Fair Housing Poster Contest teaches Marin County youth to respect all people while also promoting their artistic ability. |
Each year as part of National Fair Housing Month, FHOM invites Marin county students in grades K-8 to submit entries for our annual Fair Housing Poster Contest. This year's theme,
2009: Fair Housing for Your Family and Mine, honors the 50th anniversary of the passage of the California state civil rights laws in housing and employment, the Fair Employment and Housing Act.
2008's theme, honoring the 40th anniversary of the passage of the Fair Housing Act, was "A Home for You, A Home for Me, A home for All". 2007's theme was "Open Hearts - Open Neighborhoods". 2006:"Different Faces - Same Dream". 2005:"Together We Build Our Neighborhood". 2004:"A Home for Everyone - Fair Housing for All." 2003:"The World: A Rainbow of Friends."
Special thanks to our many volunteer judges.
This year's Poster Contest sponsors are Frank Howard Allen, PRANDI Property Management, Dalmon Property Management, Rifkind Chitsaz, LLP, Law Firm, and the Marin Association of Realtors.
